BabyBuddha IBCLC Scholarship Program

BabyBuddha Announces Sierre Robinson of Columbus, Ohio as Recipient of the BabyBuddha IBCLC Scholarship Program

BabyBuddha, the brand behind the industry-leading portable breast pump, proudly announces that Sierre Robinson of Columbus, Ohio has been awarded the September 2025 BabyBuddha IBCLC Scholarship.  The program was created to support aspiring International Board Certified Lactation Consultants (IBCLCs) on their journey to advancing breastfeeding care and advocacy.

“The IBCLC community is a very special group of people and  Sierre’s passion, dedication, and advocacy for families made her a natural choice to be the first recipient of the BabyBuddha IBCLC Scholarship Program,” said Matt Masiello, Co-founder and Chief Growth Officer of BabyBuddha. “Her commitment to both clinical expertise and compassionate care reflects the future of lactation support, and we are thrilled to support her journey.”

The BabyBuddha IBCLC Scholarship Program is designed to empower future lactation consultants who are committed to improving maternal and infant health, advancing equity in care, and expanding access to skilled lactation support across diverse communities.

Sierre’s journey to becoming an IBCLC is deeply personal and fueled by her desire to serve families with both evidence-based knowledge and compassionate support.

“My passion for becoming an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant is rooted in both personal experience and a deep desire to serve families during one of the most important seasons of their lives,” said Robinson. “As an IBCLC, I want to bridge the gap between evidence-based knowledge and the emotional realities of parenting. I am committed to ensuring that every family I work with feels seen, heard, and respected—regardless of their background, culture, or feeding decisions.”

In addition to one-on-one care, Sierre is dedicated to advocating for equitable access to lactation support, particularly in communities facing limited resources and ongoing health disparities. Her vision aligns with BabyBuddha’s mission to make breastfeeding support and resources more accessible to families everywhere.
